What Is The Hope For The Future?
Organisational Development & Communication Specialist, Bachelor Training Development, Graduate Certificate Counsel Psychotherapy, Graduate Diploma: Conflict Resolution, Master NLP Practitioner.
She is a master of empathy and influence – which explains why she is a natural for helping people deal with conflict or communication at work or in their personal lives.
Edie has been guiding, teaching supporting, and mentoring businesspeople from all walks of life for more than 16 years.
As a tertiary qualified, experienced interpersonal communication and conflict resolution specialist, she is dedicated and passionate about working with people so they feel capable, confident and can achieve their interpersonal communication goals.
“Conflict is not a good or bad thing; it has no life of its own. The outcome of conflict is either effective or ineffective. Conflict is about learning ways to be more effective by dealing with people differently.” .
Edie is a master of empathy and influence – which explains why she is a natural for helping people deal with conflict or communication at work and in their personal lives.
Edie is a master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has Bachelor’s degree in Adult Training and Development and a Graduate Diploma in both Conflict Resolution and Counseling Psychotherapy.
What can be said about people who are the Edie Hester’s of the world? She is so dedicated and passionate about her work and her clients but in a way that does not draw her into their “stuff”.
She is able to sit at the edge of the conflict or problem and guide you through in a way that is both personal and loving.
Her soft and gentle nature is almost sisterly in approach but motherly in resolve to smack you in the face with the reality check we often need. As much as it can sting you look back to see her caring smile and you are embraced by her warmth.
Much of Edie’s message comes from the fact that she challenged herself with her own series of WHAT IF scenarios and found that in doing so she moved on well past her original objectives.
I am fortunate that like the other members of the WHAT IF team I found a very close friend in Edie. She is determined to bring more happiness into the world and gives so much of her time to others in less fortunate circumstances than she is.
The term “the journey” is over used and largely taken from people who respect what it means and so in Edie’s case I defer to the quote from Socrates – “The unexamined life is not worth living”. Trust me Edie has examined it all with all the love, compassion and joy that a whole team would find difficult to replicate.
